Spectacular, Links Golf Course. If you love Links golf, I guarantee you will have a grand day out at Hayling Golf Club. Pick your travel time wisely, and it's less than 2 hours drive from SW London. Friendly, helpful club house staff from the moment of arrival until departure. Nice sandwiches. Clean. Nice old historical photos. Lovely balcony to sit at (weather permitting!), views over course and sea. Green fee was £50 with Surrey County Card, technically after 13:00 (time is negotiable!). Tee boxes, fairways in top condition, greens were 2 weeks post hollow tining so a little bumpy (but did not take away pleasure of the experience). Well designed course, opportunities to lay-up from tee box to green if the carry is too challenging. Some spectacular, interesting holes, reminding me of Trump International, Aberdeen. Distance markers on tee in yards and metres (hooray). We were spoilt by sheets of sunshine and playable wind, scores were good! Looking forward to returning :-)
