The Millenium Course, on the Villamoura Estate, is part of theOceanico Group of Golf Resorts.
The course,which opened in 2000, is aMartin Hawtree development whereby he took (and refurbished)nine holes from theoriginal 27 hole Vilamoura III Course (the remaining 18 hole forming the newLaguna Golf Course) anddevelopeda totally newfront nine hole.
The refurbishment and the totally new outward ninehave delivered an excellent parkland course which is relatively open and offers asense of space with three large lakes offering visualinterest and wildlife refuge.
With it's multiple tee options the courseis suitable for players of all ability.
