Decent 9 holer

The course is less than 5000 yards, but don't be fooled into thinking you only have to turn up to get a good score. The fairways aren't especially wide, and stray drives can lead to tricky second shots from the trees, but keep it straight off the tee and you should shot low.

The condition of the course is very acceptable, with decent greens and fairways that have a good length of grass on them (too many courses are still struggling from last summer's heat).

The clubhouse isn't the best, and there isn't a pro shop anymore, but There was a great welcome behind the bar and you're mainly there for the course anyway. I don't think it will let you down.

Good course with Friendly staff.

Had A couple of rounds at Abbey Moor Golf Club the other day,a 9 hole course with lots of trees and a bit of water to watch out for, although found a lot of the fairways were fairly wide.
A flat course, suitable for a bigginer to tackle, the greens were in great shape, there is a driving range but seemed a bit narrow to me,but the staff made you feel welcome so will probably go there again.
price was £12 for 9 holes then paid £8 for second round.
