DESCRIPTION:

Leighton Buzzard Golf Club, established in 1925, is an 18-hole parkland course located in Bedfordshire, with a par of 71 and a length of 6,316 yards. The course is known for its mature trees, well-placed bunkers, and challenging layout that requires precision and careful course management. The rolling fairways and small, fast greens make it a favourite among golfers seeking a traditional parkland experience. The signature hole, the par-4 17th, is a challenging dogleg that requires both accuracy and distance to navigate the bunkers and reach the green in regulation.

Leighton Buzzard Golf Club is easily accessible from the A5 and A4146, making it a popular destination for golfers from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury, and surrounding areas.

The nearby Rushmere Country Park offers scenic walking trails and outdoor activities, making Leighton Buzzard Golf Club a great place to enjoy a round of golf in a peaceful, natural setting.

Like it!

Played in a HDID comp so played as a guest - that was £19 which is not bad for a Saturday afternoon. The course is narrow, but not as much as I was told. As it's been there for 75 years now, it is a very mature course. As with many 'members clubs' there is an ongoing project to improve and rebuild greens, tees and the like. The greens are true, and ALL have divot repair bins on them - pity not all clubs can boast the same - probably cost too much! If you read the web pages, you could be put off as it appears 'stuffy' - wrong - very friendly. Would happily play again.
