Well worth to visit

Play first time yesterday. A really good course considering the conditions, was good and everything went well. Course is a nice blend of some easy holes and some really testing holes. Well worth a visit for a game.

Best course in the area

Having joined last week, I am over the moon with my decision!
The course suffered in the wet but as much that can be done, has been to be fair...drainage added on numerous holes. The greens are lightening quick and true and the fairways awesome. Most of the bunkers are immaculate as well...
A brand new halfway hut offers a break and nice food before the brutal back 9.
2,3,8,10,11 and 17 stand out holes for me...plenty of water, trees and bunkers and long...but SI allows for this.
I can't believe some haven't rated the practice facilities 5/5...full length range, chipping and bunker area with short game approach area and putting green...what's missing?

Food and drink nice, staff friendly, members welcoming... investment in the inside of the clubhouse expected.

nice course

When you drive into Mill ride you know it`s going to be good. The practice facilities look good, nice pro-shop and for £25 a good price. long course off the yellows for us standard golfers. So what to expect on this course. Water, water and water but not on all holes. Fast greens with suttle borrows if you are not putting well a good score disappears. Well looked after course nice holes with a halfway hut, it was closed when we played but it looked as if it is well used for competitions. I played badly but it is a course that you need to be on the fairways to have any chance of hitting the greens. would I play there again, definitely and a nice club house to have that drink and re-count those missed shots.

excellent course, a challenge for all levels

great course, plenty to challenge everyone level entry. Clubhouse and facilities were excellent with all members and staff being very friendly. Would love to visit again soon and would recommend it to any TSG member. The price is worthy of a good days golf

I think it's the best course I have ever played

This course had everything, big mother of all bunkers, lovely lakes, treemendous trees & all in great condition. They encourage you to take round a "Divot bag" full of earth & grass seed & replace the soil when need be.

Everything felt nice about this course & even though I played badly on the back nine it did not spoil my enjoyment. Fantastic 10th hole, a par 5 that went up over the hill, down through the narrow gap, up over the lake & onto the as always excellent conditioned green.

I can't wait to play here again.

MILL RIDE GC

The clubhouse and first hole give a real WOW factor. After that things settle down and you are left with a pleasant course encompassing a variety of challenges - plentiful bunkering and a variety of water hazards in particular. I enjoyed my first round here although I was a little disappointed in the presentation/maintenance of the course given its location. VG value at £20 though - online deal.

Mill Ride Golf Club

A beautiful and well kept course just outside Ascot, Mill Ride is a challenging and makes you think. There are long par 3's and par 5's and lots of water. It's a course that makes you think and punishes you if you get it wrong.

I was extremely fortunate to play this course on a Corporate day, so I don't know what the green fee is.

Thoroughly recommended.
