DESCRIPTION:

West Hove Golf Club, founded in 1910, offers a superb 18-hole, par 71 course set within 150 acres of gently rolling Sussex countryside. Located on the outskirts of Brighton, the course is known for its excellent conditioning, tree-lined fairways, and strategic bunkering. The layout provides an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities, with the signature hole being the 16th, a par-4 that requires a precise approach to a well-guarded green.

West Hove is located just off the A27, making it easily accessible from Brighton and other nearby towns. The surrounding South Downs and Brighton’s vibrant city centre offer plenty of attractions for visitors, including the famous Brighton Beach and Pier. The club’s modern clubhouse, with its spacious terrace overlooking the course, is perfect for post-round relaxation.

Excellent condition and very interesting.

Everything at West Hove is in top condition - tees, fairways, greens. Very interesting throughout - I used every club in my bag - with some challenging doglegs, and a spectacular downhill par 5 to finish. A word of caution though - a few blind shots and parallel fairways could be potentially dangerous, especially when the wind blows.
