Very playable.....despite recent deluge!

Two 9-hole layouts, The Weald and the Par-3 Valley Course make this an ideal place for those new to golf, or for a practice session to brush up your game.
Clubhouse facilities are limited to a small seating area with only drinks and snacks available, but with a friendly service and emphasis on the golf.
Good practice range and putting green.
The Weald Course has a varied selection of holes including a par-5 with water in play, a driveable (occasionally!) par-4, two good par-3's and two long par-4's to finish. You will notice the excellent condition of this course which always makes it a pleasure to play. Even after recent heavy rainfall which has forced a lot of clubs to close, I found Hobbs Cross very playable and the greens, although slow, running true. There were several flooded bunkers, as expected after the wettest April on record, but this course has not otherwise suffered - my shoes & trolley wheels didn't even get muddy!
I took advantage of a somewhat rare dry afternoon, with a twilight rate of £10.20.....great value & highly recommended!
