Such wasted potential

With an ideal location just off the A12 the course has much that it could offer but sadly does not deliver. The parkland course is open and does offer many interesting holes. The greens however let the course down badly, as do poorly maintained bunkers. A bit of TLC and some cash spent on the course rather than the clubhouse would surely attract more golfers. Green fee for 18 holes at £22 would be about right if the greens/bunkers improved, sadly no twilight offering which must detract golfers too. Like playing here despite the comments as it's local. Avoid during the "V" festival!

Poor......

Played here at the weekend for a bit of fun with a mate that has only just got into the game but what a shambles! The promise as you drive into the club is not lived up to....the course was okay, very open but the greens were shocking! This place is sadly unkept and unloved! It didnt help that the reception facilities were pretty awful too i.e. table and chairs but only coffee from a machine and no food available at all. A real shame as I was hoping for a little more......

Hylands review

Hylands is rather open, but very good for the new and intermediate player.

Long Course

This course is long and a good test of your long irons.

The clubhouse is small and the pro shop consists of a few items scattered around the entrance.

There is a putting green, driving range and practice bunker.

There is one 18 hole course (Hanbury) and a 9 hole course (Pryors)
