Cleverly laid out course, lots of hazards

A well established parkland with mature trees water hazards and clever layout. Lots of elevation changes although still not a bad walking course. A fair amount of feature holes.

Parking adequate for a busy venue. Rather a lot of buggies on the course so it did appear slow. Not a lot of signage, but hole layouts were useful for first timer.

Food and drink was friendly table service. Catering was excellent.

Some nice outdoor seating made good use of sunshine.

Good course

Quite a challenge for a first timer, fairways are baked, bunkers lack sand, greens well maintained. Overall an enjoyable experience with my new pal Andy(cheers).

Decent Challenge

Friendly welcome in the Pro-shop and good value @ £16.40 (booked online through www.teetimes.co.uk)

Course was very, very dry but greens in good condition considering.

Each hole made you think about your shots.

Would definately return.

Waterlogged But Still Fun

The course in Aston is one of the first courses that I was introduced to when learning and is still the best municipal that I have played. Today's game was following a week of heavy rain and most of the course had standing water in both the fairways and the bunkers but the greens were better than I've seen them before. The green fees on Sunday are currently £23.50 for the 18. Enjoy.
