Good course

I play here frequently and enjoy my time. Not the best overall condition all year around(leaves, ground under repair, sandy greens sometimes etc) but friendly staff and good quick 9 hole course to test your game.

Greens in fantastic nick. Teeing areas need some work doing.

Barnhurst is part of the My Time group which includes Cobtree Manor, High Elms and Bromley golf coarses.
Having played them all, Barnhurst has, for a Pay And Play excellent greens but the Teeing areas could dowith re-turfing.
All in all paying a little over £7 for nine holes at seven oclock in the evening was great value for money.
Will be going back for a quick nine holes after work very soon..

Okay but not well maintained

I thought the club was friendly and pretty good for a public course but the condition of the course shouted 'lack of investment...'. Pity becuase otherwise it woul have rated higer.
