Lovely well maintained wooded course

Play here end of October. Pro & bar staff were all friendly. Course is a lovely wooded layout where you're mostly unaware of other fairways. The condition of the course was generally very good with wide fairways and big greens to aim at (which held an approach shot). Only small disappointment would be that the greens needed a haircut (apparently they had been tined 10 days before so I guess they were letting them grow back a little). So, in all, I thoroughly enjoyed playing the course and will definitely return (probably in the spring).

Great woodland course

Played the course and enjoyed the layout. It's a woodland course with lots of variety in the holes.

The condition was as to be expected in winter but the greens were far too slow for me. They required a cut but we were warned that the greens had some maintenance done on them two weeks previous so no complaints really plus we got reduced green fees.

Staff were all very friendly and clubhouse was very good.

So, want to go back in the spring/summer and give it another go. All else good
