Nice course quite tight on back 9

First time here - pro shop was very welcoming and the course was very quiet - but I think this is mainly a members club as the visitors fees can be expensive in the summer but for today it was £27.
I feel that's a little expensive for this course but the green keepers were abundant looking after the course and obviously a great deal of effort is made to keep it up to scratch.
The greens had been treated early in the morning with some very small hollow tining so were a touch slow and bumpy - the pro apologised for this.
The club house is pleasant with a large bar and restaurant with an old school feel. Large practice putting green a chipping green and a few nets to practice with a large bowling green within the grounds and a cricket club next door.
There is a bit of a trek between the first hole and the 2,3,4 and fifth which is a separate part of the course divided by a road, some tight fairways on the way back in and a great par 3 over water for the 16th - overall worth a revisit.
