Windlesham Golf Club, established in 1906, is located in Surrey, England, near the picturesque village of Windlesham. Renowned for its meticulously maintained fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and pristine greens, Windlesham provides a balanced and enjoyable test for golfers of all skill levels.

Great course...just don't be a weekday member!

Great course and a real test of golf. Having been a member there, highly recommend a round. All year quality.
The course should be the other way round, as the 1st is brutal and the 9th a great end to the round.
Only the 11th is forgettable...
Holes 1,3,5,6,7,9,12,13 and 17 are too notch.

However, the clickiest members I have ever know...during the week. Weekend golfers were very welcoming.

A gem...23 years ago it was a farm.... now a beautiful golf course !

Windlesham is a beautiful parkland course, a real gem, born on farmland 23 years ago. The natural landscape inspired the designer Tommy Horton, a stream meanders through the land creating the hazards with a few ponds here and there. Some gentle slopes, testing dog legs, generous fairways and some beautiful trees that are better avoided. Scenery is truly pleasing to the eye, once feel peace and pleasure walking the course which has a very natural flow from hole to hole, no need of signage as the next hole is fairly obvious.

The course is immaculately presented, from Tee boxes, each with colourful varied flowers in full bloom to lush fairways, bunkers of excellent quality and various depths, but the majority are shallow and the sand is good quality. The greens are very good, nearly as good as "Wyke Green", Osterley (that bit if for Fiesal !!!!).

Today my friend Anna G and I has an invite from a Member Fiesal B and it was a truly enjoyable experience for a 1st time.

The course is very testing from the Red Tees Par & SSS 74, with 6 Par 5s..... Good scores can be had providing you plot your route carefully.

A very appealing Clubhouse, modern, chic, lovely furniture, airy layout, large windows looking to the terrace which overlook the practice green and the !st Tee, 9h & 18th greens in the short distance.

Attractive, well stocked Proshop.

Large Car Park with overflow.

Fantastic practice facilities but I did not have time to use them as I was otherwise busy !!!

Friendly members and staff.

Reasonable prices for drinks and food which is excellent.

Very posh Ladies Changing room, with marbles and sleek bathroom furniture reminds me of Goodwood a little, so it is classy.

There is a nice feel about the place. good vibes, I would love to return soon and one never know I might be tempted to be a Member as an easy journey for me on the M3 (J3), but watch this space as I am very happy at my new Club, Hampton Court Palace on Royal grounds and that suits me at the moment, well I do have some "blue blood" in my veins.

Th Club has several reciprocical arrangements and I believe Fairleigh Court is one of them!!!!!

A must play certainly. We paid £30 as a Guest fee.

The END of a short review, well it is late and I have to get up early tomorrow to play golf @ Burnham Beeches.

Gorgeous course, but not for rookies

I'd played Windlesham once before, quite a few years ago, and the change in that time is incredible. Back then I decided it wasn't a course in great condition, but today I was very impressed with pretty much everything it had to offer.

The tees and fairways were in fabulous condition, and the greens were up with the best I've played on. There are some lovely looking holes here. Add in the clubhouse and practice facilities and you can see that little has been spared on making this club everything it can be.

The fairways are generally pretty fair, but with a number of super tough par 4's this certainly isn't an easy round. I think this is a course better suited to lower handicap players. It's also not a cheap round, but you can see where the money's gone.
