Great course layout with very scenic holes with palm trees all around. The nickname for the course is 'The Lakes' because there is so much water. Grass on fairways is cowgrass which means with all the rain balls get plugged and lost easily on the fairway!! local rules allow for balls to be moved and cleaned.
I loved the course. Every hole has it's own unique obstacles and will never bore you. The fairways are excellent and the sand very soft. the greens were also very good, but for the money it is what you would expect. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I enjoyed playing here. Tee-shots have to be very accurate in places to avoid the tree lined fairways. There is some interesting holes with a excellent par 3 17th.
This is a nice course, especially for £18.50. The course itself is nicely laid out and well marked. Apart from the greens being like your lounge carpet when we played it was all good. The pro shop is small, but stocked. Didn't see warmup area (driving or putting) and the cafe opens too late.
This course plays very well in the winter, because of the chalk soil so it doesn't get wet. Greens are consistent, but very fast. In the sunmmer pitching short of the green is advisable as the ball runs forever here.
Not too difficult, but straight drives are essential.
