Laughable.
I arrived with two other members from Sunbury GC to play a TSG match organised by Peter Walton, who is a member of Pine Ridge GC.
For what ever reason, Peter was unable to attend.
When we booked in , I was told because Peter wasn't playing we had to pay £24.
After a colourful and heated conversation, I asked to speak with someone from Crown Golf, as Pine Ridge GC is HQ.
Apparently they were all busy.
I then returned to the 1st tee ( still no one on it ) for a screen shot of all the tee times.
The manager James, who I had spoken to was in the starter hut.
He said, because there's no one on the tee we can go out now..... finally, I thought.
Then he says that's £24.
I felt like smacking him in the fucking mouth. It's like going back to the 1980's.
Crown Golf is a rip off. Happy to take your money but don't want you to play their courses.
Absolutely disgraceful. TSG should take this and other such cases directly to the clubs in question and demand a full explanation on the decisions they make.
I for one will not be renewing my membership with Crown Golf next year.
