Richmond Park Golf Course

This is a public course very close to central London and I have rated it accordingly. For the money you really couldnt ask for more. There are two 18 hole courses and good driving range. The clubhouse is very welcoming as are the staff. I have played both courses and the Princes is probably the hardest of the two. And the hillier. And the ground staff do a pretty good job of keeping it very playable and open in all conditions.

Leatherhead Golf Course

This is the kind of course you would want to play more than once. At £35 it isn’t the cheapest but it is worth it. Even though the recent weather has made it tough to maintain any golf course, this one is in pretty good shape. And it’s interesting to play. Try it out.

Challenging course but let’s itself down

Kent and Surrey golf course has potential to be a really interesting and challenging course but it just lacks investment. The greens are clearly all suffering from some kind of disease so putting is a complete lottery. This needs to be sorted out and then it could well be worth a visit. The clubhouse looks like it has started renovation but no sign of much going on. No pro shop. Practise facilities are in a sorry state. Having said all of that it could be such a great course to play. I really hope someone spends some money on it soon. It is offering very cheap green fees and I guess you get what you pay for.

Attractive course. Pretty straightforward

Pine Ridge is a very pretty parkland course. Not too much in the way of trouble to be dealt with. After spell of very dry weather the course was in ok condition. Well worth a play for £21 (seniors)
Would come back. Clubhouse and proshop very friendly.
