About me: Looking to get back into regular golf again after only playing socially in the past 15 years. I’m a Kiwi who proudly supports the All Blacks, Liverpool, and Harlequins and would support the England rugby team if you had an Englishman as a coach.

Good value and excellent service

A lovely short course that has been reasonably maintained. Greens were good but should have been mown as they were full of worm castings but still, they were good and the ball travelled nicely. Good practice facilities and a nice clubhouse with outdoor seating. The staff were excellent and the service couldn’t be faulted.
Good value for money and I will go back there.

A little beauty

Thoroughly enjoyed my game at Nizels which is quite a challenging course with a few tough holes. Well manicured with good greens. It was very windy the day I played which made it very interesting.
Nice clubhouse with good facilities and friendly staff.

Enjoyable country course

Although I didn’t play well I enjoyed this course and facilities.
A good variety of well maintained undulating holes and reasonable greens.
I’d definitely go there again.

Loads of Potential

Stayed and play for 3 nights and 4 rounds recently. There were two courses and each had their merits. Well set out, challenging and good variety. Good greens but not very fast.
Great Pro Shop and practise facilities.
Only disappointing area was the diabolical service in the bar and restaurant. It was shocking. You could definitely die of thirst or hunger
No but seriously———- it was very poor and I would of thought the main profit areas in such a business. Grossly under staffed all three nights.
I spoke to staff members and club members who all acknowledged it had been a problem for a long time so our experience was nothing new.

Top Club

Thoroughly enjoyed two games at Royal Blackheath recently. A challenging parkland course with a great clubhouse and excellent outside seating areas. Great views and wonderful fast flat greens.
You are penalised for bad shots and rewarded for good. Speed of greens took a bit of getting used to.
Lots of history and tradition here at Englands oldest golf club. Think it started around 1608.
The service and welcome from the Manager, Club Captain and staff was just the best and the facilities were good. Thank you so much to my host Judy Lilley.
