DESCRIPTION:

East Herts Golf Club, located in the picturesque village of Buntingford, is a classic parkland course that offers an engaging challenge amidst a tranquil setting. Established in 1899, the 18-hole, par 72 course stretches over 6,500 yards and features tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and well-placed bunkers that test golfers’ accuracy and strategy. The course is particularly known for its fast, undulating greens and mature landscape, which add to the challenge. The signature hole is the par-4 12th, where a precise approach shot is needed to avoid the surrounding water hazard. East Herts is conveniently located near the A10, making it easily accessible from Hertford, Ware, and surrounding areas. The traditional clubhouse offers fine dining, a well-stocked bar, and a terrace overlooking the course, providing the perfect setting for post-round relaxation. With its well-maintained course, excellent facilities, and stunning rural location, East Herts Golf Club is a must-visit for golf enthusiasts in the region.

Superb, a must play course

If you get the chance PLAY HERE
County card holders £25 each, summer offer £120 for a 4 ball, and it is worth every penny of that
I haven't played the posh places like Woborn etc at the costs of £100 plus, but this is a gem
I was lucky enough to be invited to play here. best greens and well everything about the course I've played.
Even got to see an eagle flying about on the front 9
Braintree is a wonderful course and I'll be back there too for the same reasons, well almost as East herts tops the lot
