OK Course

Never played here before. Interesting course, a bit cris-cross so have to be on your toes on certain greens and tee boxes. Greens look good but very inconsistent, start off fast then go slow then fast again and then slow. Staff members friendly and other players too. Only issue is the price is a bit steep £60 for a round. Is cheaper if you play in a group they penalise single golfers.

Shooters Hill, if you have not played, then play here

Mature well kept course. A good with great views and a variety of good holes pleasing in the eye. Might not seem long, but if you walk it, you know about it. Don’t let the amount of Par3s put you off, this will be a course I play every year, really enjoyed it.

Many holes on slopes, hills.

A challenging course. Fairways not easy to hit with many sloping steeply across. Greens in v good condition. Clubhouse quite 'tired' and spike bar not very comfortable

Shooters Hill Revisited

Returned to Shooter Hill on a weekday twilight (4pm) £20 deal no booking required just walk up. We went straight off with no waiting and had a three hour round (3 ball) with no one before or after us.

Its not a long course but it is a tough walk and tight in places easy to lose a ball or two. Theres some tough par 3's including a 240yd with trees to go over.

If you can get away early from work this is worth a visit.

Nice course

Hidden away on top of shooters hill, woolwich is a tough very hilly parkland course. Beware you will feel like you've walked up and down the hill several times.
Good layout, some narrow driving areas and sloping greens make it a nice challenge.
I played twilight time for £20 which felt good value, did not go in clubhouse but looked ok inside.
