About me:
I love and have studied golf, but my game has deteriorated over the years. Played in some amateur tournements in my 30's and was Cornish Close Amateur Champion back in 1999.
Now play off 11 due to dodgy ticker, bad back, knees and reduced power.
Well kept and designed course,Lovely sea and town views, about 6300 yds. good greens, some winter mats. council run under franchise. Friendly staff and great food.Always dry as on chalk downs.
Only £10 after 12 noon cannot be beaten. suit all standards except pros.
This is my unmpteenth visit as course is local,Its a Bit of a golf factory.
Flunkies take bags etc. all a bit twee.
Course fairly well presented but greens in poor shape,
CCTV in changing rooms!! must have a pervert watching.
Fairways watered which was very good as ground was very hard being clay. This course is usually wet or dry never perfect.
Pricey drinks in club and surly shop/bar staff.
Otherwise a good day, played with a member
