a very picturesque corse

Crondon is a well maintained course situated in the Essex countryside, well away from traffic noise, its demanding and interesting. the greens are in very good condition. the club house and outside bar are good, so give it a go

Fantastic course

Penha longa Atlantic course is a very demanding layout there are very few flat lies, plenty of sand traps and water, having said the layout is brilliant with some fantastic scenery. If you can stay on the fairways you should be able to score reasonably well ,the greens were pretty quick when we played in early may,I would definitely play the course again,also I recommend a buggy

its a good place to play

the course was in good condition the greens were immaculate, the weather on the first day was rather wet which spoilt the back nine, it is rather demanding in places,if you hit straight and follow the advice on the fly over you will enjoy your round

its a good place to play

the course is interesting with plenty to test most golfers its a very pretty course, we played midweek during term time so it was not over busy, the down sides are no buggies, and you cannot use the club room unless you are a member but food and drink are available in the cafe

very good complex

Cumberwell has 5 nine hole courses plus a 9 hole par 3. over the weekend we played 4 of the 5, all were in excellent condition. The course is not for the faint hearted there is a lot of water and strategically placed bunkers also blind holes,but the views make up for the trauma.it was well worth the visits

a demanding course

it is a very interesting and picturesque course, some of the fairways are very narrow. it is also very undulating. There are also some deceiving holes across valleys to raised and double tier greens, in my opinion the slope rating is less than generous, but it is an enjoyable place to play, and i will definitely return

the course was in good condition but it was extremely windy the ball was moving on the greens, making putting difficult also watch out for the robot mowers, they appear from nowhere

an enjoyable course with some difficult holes the layout is fairly complicate but i was lucky to be paired with a local chap who showed me the way round. A nice club house with rather large sandwiches. go and playwhat ever level you are at.Enjoy

a nice course but the gps doesn't work correctly you have to start on 9 other than no problems i would definitely play again. I was lucky as i was paired with a local chap who was able to guide me round the course

Pretty undulating course

It is a lovely course offering a challenge there are lots of trees but reasonably wide fairways an generous greens the water hazards are not really a problem but the bunkers have hard sand so are not forgiving hit straight and you will not have major problems

enjoyable

this was a society weekend i found the course challenging but enjoyable it was in very good condition. the greens were true and fast,if you hit straight no real problems, but need course management, as there is a fair amount of water and some deep bunkers. the accommodation is of a good standard but the dinner menu was limited. i would stay and play again

undulating course

Basildon is an undulating parkland course that is suitable for all standards the fairways are wide but many are sloping the course is generally in good condition with good even paced greens, it is worth down loading the yardage book.the club house is bright with friendly helpful staff.

An interesting round as I have never played a links style course.the ground was very hard causing strange bounces. The only real complaint is the bunkers could do with being turned over,but overall a pleasant way to spend a morning

great course its the first time i have played it having recently returned to playing after a 30 year gap i found it demanding, but rewarding,the course is well maintained,and greens in tip top condition, the club house is friendly and inviting,will definitely play here again
