Lovely course, great variety, and challenging. Greens and fairways in lovely condition, shame I spent most of my time in the rough.

I've played it a few times and enjoyed each time. Very reasonably priced and well maintained. Club house as good as you're likely to find anywhere. Thoroughly recommend.

Pine Ridge is a lovely and picturesque course. The Fairways were very dry, hard and bare which made the shots very difficult specially pitching and chipping. The Greens were in a good enough condition. The staff are friendly and the practice facilities are also top notch. Good value for money.

Another one on the bucket list ticked off.... I had visited Pine Ridge without playing a few times, so was looking forward to playing here and I wasn't disappointed!

Without doubt a superb layout through pine trees and top notch fairways, I would rate it as highly as the lesser Wentworth courses (Edinburgh & The East!), yes it's that pretty!

All the tee boxes and presented well and although the greens were fluffy in places on the day we played, I am sure they could be deadly on medal days.

However, I one negative, £38 here on a Sunday pm is a bit heavy. However, luckily this is a TSG Preferred course, so only £32 for TSGers.

I really enjoyed playing at this course. Fairways were wider than other places I have played at, didn't lose a ball until last hole ????. Well maintained and I reckon was value for money. Will defifinitely play there again. Thank you.

Nothing more to say - other than it's not too difficult or too easy. Very picturesque and I absolutely love this course. Everyone must try it!

I have to applaud the grounds staff for their hard work. It's a fantastic course and stunningly picturesque. It felt like being in the Masters. The staff were friendly and the pro shop well stocked. For £14.50 which is half price for TSG members is definitely recommended and I would love to play here again.

As I drove into the car park, I immediately had the impression of an excellent golf facility. Well laid out, with the entrance to a 36-bay driving range at one end of the clubhouse and the course starting at the other. Green fees are taken at a 'kiosk' style hut instead of in the Pro shop.

Standing on the first tee, with the sight of tall pine trees lining both sides of a wide fairway, I knew I was going to enjoy this course. After a damp start, the skies brightened, so umbrellas were folded enabling us to see the course in it's full autumn glory. That's what you need to do here ..... look around, for this is a beautiful place to play golf.

After the first 3 holes, the course moves away from the dense pines to more open landscape, relatively flat, but no less interesting. There are 4 par-5's and 4 par 3-s of differing length to add variety. If you venture away from the fairways, the trees need to be avoided. Although it's often said that trees are 90% air, it's the 10% wood that you need to be aware of here, as pines can be thicker than they look! If you are able to keep to fairways, a good score will be possible.

After the 'turn' it's back to the pine forest, with some more testing slopes to contend with on the back 9. There are several lengthy paths between holes where those with motorised trolleys will have an easier walk, but this is a course to enjoy without hurrying. Club selection is crucial on the short par-3, 17th, with a very deep bunker short of the green, while anything long will face a treacherous downhill putt.

Fairways today were not too well defined, but perfectly acceptable for the time of year. Bunkers were wet after heavy rain, but still playable. Very good greens, so I have no excuses for my missed putts!

The spacious bar/restaurant provided a comfortable setting for a post-round drink with good, reasonably priced food served by 'enthusiastic' staff making for a fitting finale to a very enjoyable day. I shall look forward to returning.....

Had not played here for some time. Some interesting holes and in reasonable condition, but think it is overpriced at £37.00 and more like a £30-£32.00 maximum priced course.

I played Pine Ridge a few times in the Summer and this was my 1st Winter visit. I was nicely surprised how pleasant the course was despite the wettest 2012 officially on records.

FAIRWAYS: well drained, only a few wet patches on the sides, and on some of the paths. Lots of ropes to keep trolleys aways from certain areas, a good idea for maitenance purposes.

GREENS: they were spiked recently, but played well, good condition for Winter play.

BUNKERS: Should I mention them ?... yes I shall, sand was bit compacted but playable. Bunker by the 14th has a story today, but I wont deliberate too much, will just say that my golfing partner, ex BAA colleague of mine & friend, tall/handsome Yorkshire man has fully recovered & has kept a "certain Srixon golf ball" as a souvenir..........

Our 4-ball was one of the liveliest & "loudest" I have ever joined, yes Peter/Gary/Stewart, we had a lot of fun and played some great golf.

Must mention my brilliant drive on the 17th, Par 3, 124 yrds, a carry over a dip to an elevated green. I was the only one to get on the green & was (well my ball) very, very nearly in the hole. The biggest pitch
mark I ever made. One shot to remember....

Despite a good scorecard, not sure when I shall return to Pine Ridge, all depends whether I have nightmares or not about the 14th.....

PROSHOP: has smart Ladies Clothing, Roehnisch (a Swedish make), one of my favourite make, excellent quality @ competitive price.

I felt transported across the Channel and thought I was playing golf in Northern France, but without the fresh sea air and the sand...

Pine Ridge is a recent addition to Crown Golf and set up in a big, well organised complex with function rooms, bowling alley, bar, pub and restaurant. The Golf Course has a peaceful beauty with tall, established pine trees & younger ones recently planted, lots of woodlands with public right of way, bridleways which one has to cross twice during the back 9. Woodpeckers in great number. The 18 holes are well planned taking into account the forest, some trees do stand on the fairways and need to be avoided. I dont know what was the noisiest: the woodpeckers or the golf balls hitting the pine trees?

Fairways mainly straight, not many dog legs, but not flat by any means, hills to climb (more so on the back 9), some greens perched up or running down, All greens have some slope. The 7th green has 2 parts separated by a deep recession and a tier top part. Drives & 2nd shot need careful consideration or you can easily end up in the woods & balls are not easy to find amongst pine trees, cones and neddles, so better stick to the fairways. Water in play on on hole No. 2 only. Bunkers looked attractive but never visited them so no sand experience to report today.

Every hole is beautiful, no matter where you look, but I prefer the back 9s, more spectacular because of the climbs, lovely Par 3s. Today putting was not easy as the greens were hollow tined, so not true, as they say. I think our 4 balls has some unfortunate misses. I did. Paths to the next hole well defined for trolleys or buggies. Each hole has a nice wodden plaque set in a box made of sleepers & filled with bark. It looked very smart.

A busy course, but in excellent condition, well maitained, very attractive, even more so with the sunshine we had today: a little French paradise in Frimley/Camberley, Surrey!

Well laid out Car Park making parking very easy. Large driving range with quality balls. Chipping & putting area by the starters hut. Well stocked Proshop, including Ladies clothing. Bar with friendly staff, excellent food, reasonably priced. Large terrace patio area with lots of tables/benches/parasols (green to match the pines) with wonderful view of the forest all around. Modern, light & airy Ladies room, I assume the Men's were of similar standard.

It was my 1st visit and I was not disspointed, on the contrary I truly enjoyed the day, the surrounds and the TSG company and I had a good score.

Really enjoyable day, greens were tricky to get the hang of due to the weather (half frozen, half not). Liked the course a lot, challenging without being punishing.

The course has held up very well in the recent weather. Greens are in good condition and the course in general represents a decent challenge and excellent value for money.

Not the best conditions to enjoy.
Course was in good condition despite my best efforts to ruin it! Large greens with contours meant a few big putts. Tree lined but generous fairways helped. Nice course and would like to play again in the sunshine next time.
