Firstly, the entrance is off the A246 (Epsom Road) some sat navs, including mine, take you down Clandon Road and there is no entrance there, so be careful.
This was a Society Day - £62 - coffee & bacon roll, 18 holes and one course meal (lasagne, garlic bread and coffee) , which was a bit sparse, but you get what you pay for. Nice clubhouse, changing rooms and bar/restaurant area.
The course was in decent condition considering the rain there had been in the previous week. fairways well mown and greens surprisingly fast considering they were wet and the grass was not short. They must be like lightning in summer.
The way to both the 1st and especially the 10th need far better signposting. As do the way to some tee boxes from the previous green. No printed course planners available and no map signs on the tee box to show the hole pictorially. The latter is a big negative in my opinion. My Bushnell did not pick up the course and I was not the only one with that problem. Garmins worked OK.
I'd play it again now I know how to get there and my way around.

A lovely parkland style course and with the recent dry weather in very good condition. Fairways were hard and the ball ran or bounced a long way, but one has to watch out for the slopes. A few times my drive went on one side of the fairway, but by the time it stopped it was on the other side with a poor shot to the green. Greens were very true with a good few deceptive burrows and fast downhill, but surprisingly slow when putting uphill. But I got the hang of them in the end. However, there are too many steep slopes on this course for my knees/legs. I've played it once and I won't be in a hurry to play it again because of the hills.

Fantastic clubhouse, changing area, bar and food. It was a corporate day so I can't comment on prices.

The course was in very good condition considering the wet weather we have had earlier in the year. Fairways and greens very good and plenty of sand in the bunkers. Nothing to do with golf, but a great variety of wildlife - deer, rabbits, ducks, geese, squirrels was seen as well. A favourite course of mine and I regularly exceed expectations when I play here as I did on this occasion. Clubhouse food and drink could not be faulted.

Felixstowe Ferry Golf Course is a links course, where wind have an effect on play, especially when it is blowing hard from the sea. Great greens, with some hidden burrows. In dry conditions the ball can bounce/run for ages on the fairways, but not always straight. Some pot bunkers scattered around, especially on the 14th - beware. Clubhouse is old, they are planning a new one within 2 years, but local Adnams ales on offer. Not expensive for a non-member to play, in my opinion. The sea views from the course are fantastic and you may even catch a glimpse of a mega-container ship on its way to the port. Enjoy it if you play there.
