Superb Well Kept Course - TSG Get some agreements going!!!!

Well it cost £25 in week with 2for1, and £30 at weekends after 2, without which I feel this course is over priced, but this is no exception in my opinion. It is also a new member of the Fairways Card.

As for the course, even in recent changing conditions the course was in immaculate condition. Greens smooth, fairways firm and overall one of the nicest looking and interesting courses I have played. Will be going back.

The clubhouse pro shop is friendly and informative, and Nick English was nice over the phone and in person, as well as flexible.

The bar area is really nice overlooking the 16th fairway and 18th green. Would imagine it being great for a society do.

Practise facilities also good - range, pitching/chipping area and putting greens.

Check it out fellow TSGers.

Rusper - Worth more than just one visit

The course has a great layout, with difficult narrow holes coming midway through the round but that do not totally penalise you for veering far from the fairways.

Putting greens were good (even in wet conditions not too bad), the course kept well and the staff at sign in friendly.

Practise facilities are good enough with dirivng range and putting green.

Oh dear oh dear!

Well apart from the guy in the portacabin being friendly, there isn't much worthwhile about this course. Greens - grass too long, slow and unresponsive; Fairways - covered in patches of weed and merge into rough in places. Tee off places covered in broken tees. Could do with some food/drink facilities and better ground staff....and maybe a tree/bush/shrub or two...

For £25.00 pounds I would not recommend it. If it was £15.00 or accepted 2 for 1 vouchers, I would consider it...especially as its empty to get round at a good pace.

Decent Course

Some interesting holes to start with, but the later holes from about 12 to 17 seem to be just back to back open fields. However, this said, that does add variety offering crowded greens/fairways to start and then open holes once you've settled in.

Awsome Conditions & Relaxing

Well course was in great condition and there was no rush on as it was not overly busy for a Saturday. Great value for money with your TSG profile showed to the pro shop you get the round for £18.00 which is excellent for this well kept golfing facility. Recommend this highly to the TSG members.

Felt Long, Played Long!

Well loved the course itself, again like Mannings Heath it was pretty cut up and made getting grip and being comfortable very difficult. The course was pretty long and many of the Par 4s challenging for me. I liked the layout and would definately play this again in the summer.

Poor Conditions Considering the Weather

Considering the decent weather we have had over recent weeks and the fact I had been told the course was good, I was disappointed. The course had been cut up by the combination of deer feet cutting up the course and buggies being allowed to be used on really sodden ground. Also difficult to get any footing on the slippery surface. Cost in midweek is cheap @ £9.00 so maybe better value for money then. I would not go back in a hurry as a long drive for an average and not overly interesting course.

Nice new layout, challenging in it own way!

Well though the course may read as being short (only 1short par 5), the course plays longer and is challenging (especially if you have not got a monster drive of 300+) as it dog legs on many occasions. Really enjoyed the last few holes. Have to say some of the bunkers are well placed to cause troubles. Greens played well and not too tricky, however the signature par 3 hole does have a tricky green depending on your location. Highly recommend it.

Great Value for Money

Cart and 18 holes for £22.50 each (includign 2 for 1 voucher mid week at 12 tee off.

Greens in ok condition and some interesting holes on the course. A decent challenge but not particularly long. Great for starters, to just boost your confidence, or practise your short game.

Arch Nemisis!!!

Have generally found this course hard. Long in places, tight in others, over water near the end when your on your last legs!!!! Course is interesting but I feel maintenance has gone a bit down hill? (maybe its just cos its autumn).

Facilities excellent, range, puttering green, chipping/bunker area, large shop etc

9 cool, 9 boo!

Ok so the course is being renovated atm, but of the holes they currently have you have like 9 interesting ones and 9 that seem like they are just back and forth in a field.

Can be a challenge with some long par 3s, it is in need of more TLC and the greens are a little small in places.

Good for a cheap round of golf however.

Best I've Played

Enjoyable, well laid out, good variety and no chance of being held up!!! Value for money is excellent, they do accept some 2 for 1 vouchers too and are flexible with tee times often if your running late.

Would play here every week if I was a bit closer.

Good Variety

The holes have some good variety. Specifically the 12th and 13th. Not too long and pretty open so a good oppertunity to open up with the woods without too much worry of out of bounds and hazards.
