Immaculate!

Farleigh is immaculate and beautifully maintained, however with the exception of a couple of the par 3's it's rather dull and featureless. Wide sweeping fairways ideal for big hitters as there is very little trouble, the greens were large and true. It is very exposed so on a wet and windy day I imagine it becomes a different beast.

Play it while you still can.

At the end of 2021 this beautiful course will be dug up to provide tennis courts for the Wimbledon complex. The course is narrow but has some wonderful challenging golf holes in particular the 6th which is followed but to fabulous par 3's.

The fairways and rough are the lushest I've ever played as money is thrown at the course to keep it in superb condition. Greens were ok but probably better in the summer.

Do try and play it before it's gone.

Great but tight course

Stunning views from the club house over London. The course itself is fairly tight and you need to be accurate to avoid the numerous hazards importantly club selection is key. Fabulous condition for winter golf it obviously drains very well with excellent and true greens. I look forward to playing it in the summer!

Surprisingly Good

I wasn't sure what to expect at Clandon Golf as upon arrival the portacabin isn't great but everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The course offers nice wide fairways so no matter how wayward your drive it's easy to find your ball. The greens looked terrible but played true! The back nine has some terrific holes which need to be played a second time to get right. Drains very well so a good winter course.

Forgettable

A nice course very close to Croydon town centre. It was in excellent condition with true but slow greens. It's a bit backwards and forward with no stand out holes but a pleasant stroll.

A Hidden Gem

The course is fairly routine until you arrive at hole 7, then it becomes a proper challenge! Greens good and true and the course is very well kept. Love to play it again.

Wouldn't rush back!

Fairly easy short course, greens were terrible but it was after the beast from the east! For a pay & play it's OK.

Fabulous Course

Having played 'The Addington' a fair few times 'Addington Palace' is definitely it's twin. Every hole offers something different with some very tight holes and some huge holes for the big hitters! Be prepared for a long walk but the Greens are immaculate and very difficult to read so a two putt is a bonus. The course is very dry in the winter. The club house is the old stable block for the grand mansion so very charming.

Play it if you can

A real treat to play such a beautiful historic course, each sweeping fairway flanked by very tall pines, I'm told it's like Sunningdale only better!!

Wouldn't rush back!

It's difficult to know what's wrong with this course the greens were excellent true & very tricky, every hole is difficult with the ball either above or below your feet on every fairway. It felt very bleak and seemed to lack any charm - maybe better in the summer?

Impressive

I played the old course as a guest of onegolfclub.co.uk, a beautifully laid out course fairly tight with bunkers everywhere! The greens were very tricky and in excellent condition and the majority two tiered. The wind really affected the course and I'd need to return to get the club selection right.

The clubhouse and practise facilities are wonderful, I'm looking forward to returning very soon.

Gentle

In fantastic condition with excellent difficult to read greens, 3 or 4 spectacular holes and a couple of dull holes but a good not too long course. Will certainly get back to one day.

Proper Golf Course

Played the East course which was in perfect condition, the greens were very tricky and not easy. Each hole offered something different and were a real challenge - the 18th being a superb finishing hole. Love to play the West course next. If I lived nearer I'd join without hesitation.

Wow!

I can't believe it took me so long to play here, possibly one of the most beautiful courses I've played with it's wide sweeping fairways and immaculate greens it really should be on everyone's list of courses to play.

Forgetable!

Hurricane Course - Tricky greens but not a very interesting short course, I'm told Spitfire course much better so like to give that a try.
