Greens were super fast
Bunkers and general condition of the course was very good

Pestana Villa sol hotel is having a refurb but after getting an upgrade i'm not complaining
loved every bit of it golf courses were stunning great condition not too busy and some good challenges
Uber Cab to town for dinner and drinks 6 euros and so cheap to eat out

we were told it's the oldest course but screw the new ones this was in excellent shape the green's were like glass
well maintained and in great shape

would highly recommend it

csn't wait to go back again soon

Great Bars and restaurants in nearby Alvor not that I remember much about them !!

just needed some water

I could imagine that this course had it not looked so bare on the fairways etc could be fantastic
on arrival the pro shop staff couldn't do enough for you

The views all around the course and the Villa's were stunning off season we paid 150 euros for 18 holes would highly recommend a visit though

For that price i'd play there anytime

Very old golf course but in great shape considering the weather we've had this year so far. lots of tight fairways to try and land on Trees and dog legs my only disappoint was the tee boxs that weren't flat.

Highly recommend the American Breakfast just a shame no scrammbled egg only fried.

Coffee and cake was melt in your mouth home made yum yum.

Very Nice set up and course

Benton Hall is well worth a visit friendly staff nice showers and patio.
The Parkland Course has the best of both worlds tough in places lots of water tight drives into narrow fairways two tier greens will be going back as soon as poss money well spent

Stunning setting Just a shame about my Golf

Great course and stunning Hotel couldn't find the pool though wished i'd had a stay over perhaps my golf would of been alot better very nice parkland course greens slow made very welcome in the pro-shop will go back but might get a buggy next time

Silvermere is well worth a visit great parkland course tight fairways water and in very good condition.
Came with a free breakfast money well spent staff onsite were very helpful

Great Course on a Sunny day with No extreme wind

Course was in good nick the rough was punishing greens and bunkers in good condition.

Got to be one of the best Pay and play courses around

Great course very testing loads of water and ditchs the rough was extreme great hospitality and a bbq running before you tee'd off on the 10th nothing better than homemade burgers.
will go back again but not when i'm hung over from the night before.

Played here today in a Match the Staff / Members made me feel very welcome the course was stunning the Greens were exceptional the quality was unbelieveable and the Bunkers fringing hell.

Very nice Hotel will look out for another deal in the summer

Liked the course even though its that time of the year for greens work and course maintenance.
not the longest but the greens and Bunkers made up for it.
would go back again for either a night away and maybe a couple of rounds very busy with weddings etc.

Nice set up Great looking Resort Hotel

Played the links course today the front 9 is very flat wide and open few water holes in play.
The back more enjoyable dog legs etc but found the course bland and the greens had been left fluffy but the only good thing about them was the size ouf them very small.
Been told the Lakes course is far nicer and Harder.

Front Nine tight / Back nine in a field??

as per previous reviews the front nine is tight in places with some nice holes and the greens were in good nick the bunkers i found had sand in them.
the island green was tricky and looked nice.
the back 9 was very open you just seemed to go back and forth a couple of tricky greens though.
well worth a visit great price including breakfast seemed a very busy place.
just a shame about all the geese droppings.

Stunning / great setting

Played here yesterday the staff and members made us feel most welcome in fact they couldn't do enough for you the Breakfast included in the cost was Fab.
The course setting was Linksy the back drop over London and the race course nearby was breathtaking.
Not the longest course but if you like something that is tight / tricky / and you need to have some imagination it is for you i would highly recommend a game here and can't wait to go back in the summer.
my only Warning would be the Greens they were like Glass so i'd hate to think how you stop a ball later in the year.

Hmmm

i have been told in the past that this course was something special yesterday if to be totally honest it was crap.
Nothing to write home about found the course needing alot of work to get back to scratch greens / bunkers and even Fairways need a lot of work would i go back again i doubt it.

Ideal parkland Society course pretty flat and not that Hard , the only bad bit for me was the greens today as they were terrible someone needs to have words with the Green keepers.

weather was great Clubhouse staff excellent couldn't do enough for us.
the Greens were in a very good condition the fairways looked like they needed some water as it was hard underneath but everyone had a very good day and we will look forward to going back next summer.

Wow Wow got to play this course.

This course at the Manor house is amazing the scenery and quality of the course is outstanding if you ever get the chance to play it is a must.
but i would recommend a buggy as you need to be a mountain goat.
the service in the pro shop and Bar etc was fantastic.

what a difference!!

So finally the potato field is no longer, now that Irrigation and a new club house in place.
Used Green saver book got 2 of us for 20quid.
Fairways / bunkers in good condition greens were good
Challenging inland-Links course especially when windy Rough was rough but you could find your ball.
can imagine being in the clubhouse if you over hit to the 18th as the Green not overly big.
would go back again.

Sunday afternoon Best!!

Arrived early thoght it would of taken longer but Tunnel and M25 empty for once??
1st impressions are always good pleasently surprised when driving up to club house Car park.
Pro in shop was very helpful and pointed me in right direction for Breakfast.
Clubhouse nicely decorated , Food was very good and cheap.
Out on the Course the Rough was evil , once in don't bother looking for the Ball.
Greens good , Bunkers need a little work but overall value for money.
would go back again without a dubt.

Nothing like have some wind!!

I have played Pedham a few times the Course is an inland Links some people slate it but i think the Course is a great challenge playing against the elements
They are starting to spend some serious Money up there so hopefully with the New clubhouse and No porta-cabins it will make a big difference.
But then again for 20 odd quid or 2 for 1 vouchers you get what you pay for.
Best bit about the Bar is the Blond behind it.

Played the international today as the Heritage is closed for a couple of weeks course was in excellent condition shame i wasn't the weather went from sunshine to wind to light rain but the greens were still like glass for this time of the year.
Food and staff onsite were excellent abit disappointed with the pro shop though.
